The MC406 Transmitter has two programming methods. The first is via on screen push buttons and the latter is via a mobile APP called Mag-Net. Mag-Net is available for both Apple and Android users as it uses bluetooth for connection, the app can be downloaded from both app stores.
A nice feature of using bluetooth to communicate is the distance of which you need to be from the physical asset. If the sensor and transmitter are installed in the middle of a road, you can pull up next to the chamber, and connect to the unit from the comfort of your vehicle.
The app shows a live flow rate, totaliser, settings and more, there really is no need to see the physical display. Best of all, it is a FREE download with no hidden/extra charges to pay.
The MC406 Transmitter when paired with either flow sensor can have up to 30m of cable length between both parts
The MC608 Transmitter when paired with either flow sensor can have up to 100m of cable length between both parts
All 4 items are IP68 for permanent submersion
