The CXL4 is a dual-frequency (33 + 131 kHz) Cable Avoidance Tool and is available in 3off versions. The standard CXL4, the CXL4-D with in-built data logging and the CXL4-DBG with in-built data logging, Bluetooth connectivity & GPS tracking. All versions are designed for use with either the SGA4 or SGV4 Signal Generators.

The MLX4-D with built-in data logging and the MXL4-DBG with built-in data logging, Bluetooth connectivity and GPS tracking, Both versions are used with the MXT4 multi frequency transmitter.

The XL4 locators do not require periodic recalibration, a fully Automated Daily Self Test (ADST) tests and confirms that the Cable Avoidance Tool is functioning at its optimum level each day. The result of each ADST is recorded and stored within the data file and can be used to produce a Product Validation Certificate using the PC Toolkit. If you should require third-party Test and Calibration certificates to comply with your own internal regulations, this service can still be offered.
The XL4 range of Cable Avoidance Tools retain the reliability and durability expected of all C.Scope products and now come with a 3 year warranty as standard.
Each XL4 locators are supplied with 8 x AA (LR6) alkaline batteries sealed in a secure fitted battery compartment and will typically provide approximately 40 hours of service depending on use. The locators can also be used with NiMH rechargeable batteries. The battery compartment also houses a spare battery holder.
